These are original 80s cab visors for 75-91 Ford vans, dead stock from their original distributor! There's multiple styles available, please check out all the photos. We expect that some mounting tabs or braces may be required for a safe install, which are not included.
We do not produce fiberglass. This kit is part of a giant distributor's lot that was dug out of barn storage, sorted, catalogued, and fitted. For more information on our vintage van fiberglass body kits, fitting, local pickup, etc, check out our FLARE PAGE.
These visors seem to be very high quality fiberglass, they've kept their shape very well in 40 years of barn storage, with no delamination or cracks. Due to the way these traveled over the years, they have some chips, abrasions, scratches and stains in the finish that will need to be taken care of in paint prep. Theres nothing major that requires repair, it's all cosmetic, and I believe they'll clean up beautifully for paint.
The black ballcap and the ribbed visor are both made of thick plastic, they may have mishapen slightly from years of sitting in storage. However, I think just mounting them will bring them back to shape, a heat gun could also be used to coax them into shape if necessary. They have no cracks or breaks, but may have some sunfade, stains, or minor surface scratches.
