Your 2025 Get Baked 5 People's Champ is Mars!
Mars is new to our Get Baked competition, but looks like he's been doing this stuff for years. She took the most votes for People's Champ, and rightfully so. Just look at them horses! Mars did a full scene with a very simple yet super detailed pickup build, she described it as a mashup of her two trucks, a Nissan Hardbody and an OBS Chevy. I love the little KC daylighters and m&m poverty caps, I guess yall did too! Congrats Mars!
Hevy's Choice: Left Lane Jess & Hanna!
It's not Jess and Hannahs first year celebrating the holidays with us...and they just keep getting better! Hanna says that she wishes she could make this her full time job, would one of yall hire her already? This set is insane: two vans, two trucks, and a trailer, all on party theme. Crushed coors cans, a bonfire, some vested up doggies getting after it. Jess and Hanna were actually only 9 votes away from Mars in the Peoples Champ vote, it may have been our tightest race ever. Definitely made it an easy pick for Hevy's choice. We love Left Lane VC and hope we get to party with those hotdogs soon!!
Best Paint: Brandy!
Brandys been building gingerbread vans with a whole crew of friends a couple years now, and we always love to see what they come up with. Brandy went over the top on paint this year, not just with icing but with the background of her diorama! We love seeing all the effort that goes into these builds and doing a movie car with a whole handpainted scene is no joke. Brandy gets best paint for more reason than one!
Best Interior: Brenden!
Look at this bear just chillin. He knows that little van is cozy. Brendan tricked out his rig with Cheetos shag, mood lighting, and look at those tiny fuzzy dice! This lowered van was sick on the outside, but it especially shined on the inside!
Holiday Spirit - Maggie!
Maggie made a whole event of gingerbread van building at Bad Moon Saloon in Milwaukee, and thats the kinda spirit we love to see. They made up a bunch of van kits, motorcycle cookies to decorate, and had a bar-wide competition of their own. It looked like a ton of fun, and we appreciate all the work that goes in to something like that. Thanks Mags!
