Cutting instructions for Big Truckin' Mats
You will need:
- Fresh utility blade, sharp scissors, OR hook knife for multitool
- Straight edge
Big Trucking Mats are designed to fit just about anything! Just grab a fresh utility blade, some sharp shears, or a hook blade for your multitool. A utility blade will require a lot of pressure, and possibly multiple passes, and it helps to have a straightedge to guide your cut.
There's both vertical and horizontal channels, as well as "blocks" designed into the treads of the Big Truckin mats, that can be cut out without losing your muck-trapping center section. The lower blocks can be removed to help clear seat mounts, while removing upper blocks can give clearance for a high beam switch or floor mounted pedals. Removing vertical channels will narrow the mats, and removing horizontal channels will shorten the mats. Once you dial in the fit, be sure to send us some photos!

You will need:
- 1-1/2" hole saw & drill

For the headlight switch cutouts in the earlier years, you can use a 1-1/2” hole saw for an easy cut, there’s a centering detent to line up with your pilot bit in the hole saw, or use a box cutter and follow the circle for a low-tech cut.
